Time tracking and invoicing for solo freelancers

Turn every tracked hour into a paid invoice

Quillhours is the time tracker built for solo freelancers: start a timer, log your work, and send clean invoices in minutes.

Takes you to sign-up.

Billing by the hour should not take an evening

The old way

With Quillhours

Timers start late or never stop, so billable minutes go missing.

One running timer, and entries you can add after the fact.

Hours live in a spreadsheet, a notes app, and your memory.

Every entry sits in one timesheet, grouped by client and day.

Sunday night means copying hours into an invoice template.

Pick the unbilled hours, check the preview, and send.

Team tools bring seats, admin, and reports you will never open.

Built for one person who bills by the hour. Nothing else in the way.

From timer to paid, in four moves

  1. Track

Start a timer, or log time after the fact

Pick the client and project, press start, and the entry lands in your timesheet. Forgot to start? Add the hours by hand.

  2. Review

    See the week by client

Your timesheet groups entries by day, with each client's hours and rate kept beside the work.

  3. Invoice

    Choose unbilled hours and preview

The invoice builder lists hours you have not billed yet. Select them, and the invoice assembles itself in a clean preview.

  4. Get paid

Send it and watch the status

Invoices move from draft to sent to paid, so you can see at a glance who still owes you.

Quillhours is time tracking and invoicing for solo freelancers, not teams.

Three screens, nothing more

A timesheet with a running timer, an invoice list that shows draft, sent, and paid, and an invoice builder that starts from the hours you have not billed. No seats, no team admin, no report builder.

Questions freelancers ask

Who is Quillhours for?

Solo freelancers who bill clients by the hour: designers, developers, writers, and consultants. It is not built around teams or seats.

Can I add time I forgot to track?

Yes. Besides the running timer, you can log an entry for a past date with the client, project, and hours.

How does an invoice get built?

The invoice builder lists the hours you have not billed yet. You select them, check the preview, and send.

How do I know which invoices are paid?

Each invoice carries a status of draft, sent, or paid, so the list shows what is still outstanding.

Is this a team tool like Harvest or Toggl?

No. Quillhours leaves out team admin and reporting on purpose, so the path from tracked hour to sent invoice stays short.
